Pathfinder's wind energy vision is based on an appreciation for Wyoming's rural economies, communities, wildlife and cultural resources.

Leading international renewable energy consultancy group Natural Power has been selected to provide Owner's Engineering services during the resource assessment and project design stages of a 2.1GW wind farm project in southeastern Wyoming, US being developed by Pathfinder Renewable Wind Energy, LLC (Pathfinder).

Based in Alcova, Wyoming, Pathfinder owns and operates Wyoming's historic Pathfinder Ranch and is advancing the development of new wind generation assets and has expanded power transmission for markets in Southwestern US.

Natural Power's wind farm design and resource analysis experts will offer comprehensive, independent advisory services to Pathfinder to help deliver a project that is financeable, constructible and operable.

Pathfinder's wind energy vision is based on an appreciation for Wyoming's rural economies, communities, wildlife and cultural resources.

Their unique approach has been described as a model for renewable energy development in the region.

Andrew Clark, Vice President of North American Operations at Natural Power said: "We are delighted to have been appointed as an Owner's Engineer for Pathfinder's Wyoming wind project development efforts. We look forward to helping Pathfinder realise their ambitions by applying our consultancy expertise to this visionary project."
